I received a call from my friend and fellow TUSCL mate, ClevelandTom on Wednesday, as I was in the middle of a massage from my cute therapist. He inquired as if I'd be interested in meeting him in Youngstown at one of his favorite clubs. This is how it all happened. Now, my therapist wants to hear all about what our night was like in Youngstown, since I shorted her 1/2 hour on the massage.

I arrived at the Palace at 8:45PM, Wednesday, August 29, 2007. Unaware that the club had two ends, I first entered the front (street side) and noticed a bar and an empty stage. I inquired with the lady bartender if there was a second part to which she replied, yes, I had to enter it in the rear entrance. Finding my rear entrance.... wait a minute! Finding the club's rear entrance, I entered and paid the customary $15 C.C. Soon as I walked in from the small lobby, ClevelandTom approached me and introduced himself. This was the first time we had met. (By the way CT, that was a funny colored yellow shirt). He earlier advised me that he would be the 'big guy in the yellow shirt'. I think he changed his mind on the wardrobe. Oh well, on with the story.

As CT mentioned in this earlier review, I agree, this is the most interesting (and unusual) club I have been in, in a long time. CT explained the layout pretty good, to include the 5 seperate LD booths, each with a beaded curtain, and very small. The 'soft bar' offers non-alcoholic beverages and water. Appearantly, they don't charge for the bottled water, because that's what CT and I drank all night.
