I visited early on a Weds...

I visited early on a Weds afternoon, only because I was in the immediate area. I was immediately impressed by the amount of dancers (probably more than customers) and by the overall general attractiveness of the girls. Now, this is a bikini bar, no questions about it. I've seen women more scantily clad at the beach or in a Victoria's Secret ad. No complaint, just an observation. The tip parade was pretty ruthless, esp since the girls were on the inside of the bar, no contact. That, was a complaint. I sat for about 20 mins, not quite sure what the deal was. The girls did not come around outside the bar for tips, wtf? I did notice there were some women sitting with men, but bc of the dancers' dress code, I couldn't tell if they were dancers or girl friends w/ low cut tops. And I still couldn't figure out the ld routine, basically bc no was talking to me. At the bottom of my $4.50 coke, I was just about ready to give up, hit the door, head south to Mecca, (Burlington), and give this place a 3. The next thing I know a dark eyed beauty is seated beside me. Now, not just any beauty, but a miuto bonito caboclos brasileira. As a loyal fan of the above mentioned PH, I have had my heart broken several times by these exotic, gorgeous, women. The f* soft spot in my heart. She's only been in the states less than a year, and with my piss poor Portugese, we're not talking much. But when she asks for a dance-- Hell, yes. I didn't even ask how much, where, or anything, I just followed her. Dances are $20 per. I'm not sure how long, but I didn't feel cheated. They were at least a good 4 or 5 min each. I didn't see a clock, etc, or a bouncer, cameras, or any sort of watchdog. The lap area is in a raised, partitioned corner of the bar. Mildly private if it's just the two of you, no privacy if there are other lds going on. No rooms, curtains, beads, tents, or doors. Not a complaint, just another observation. During our dances the top stayed on. I'm wearing my summer sc attire-- camo shorts. There didn't seem to be any chance of a block handshake or a PH experience. My hands roamed sort of freely, but not under any cloth, or near anything that might be intimate. Everything seemed to be by the book. But I was obviously not a regular, so who knows? On the drive home (4hrs), as I was preparing this review I was wondering how I really rate these clubs. If the girl(s) I'm spending time($) with has the ability, willingness, or desire to create the illusion of a real GFE, I'm pretty happy. And if the rules get twisted a bit, that's ok, too. But, the f* mercenaries, I think, piss me off more than anything. Before I wrote this, I read as many other boards on this club as possible. And it appears as if Breathless has a pretty bad rep for having a bunch of dancers with attitudes. Based on what I saw today, that might probably be accurate. Just bc a dancer is wearing skimpy clothes and has bills to pay does not obligate me to hand over a fist full of hard earned ones. Screw that. The careful reader would note that my rating went from a 3 to a 7, based soley on my GFE with one dancer. That's right. But that's just me. I tried to give the pluses and minuses of my sole visit. Now, I only have to figure out how to get back here na duas semanas que vein(sp). Maybe it could be an 8.
