Because of the stifling heat that encompasses New Orleans during the late summer, SCs in the Big Easy have a reputation for doing less than bumper business during the month of August. So when I traveled there on business a weeks ago, my expectations were not particularly high. I hadn't frequented any of the SCs in New Orleans before; so I didn't have much information when deciding which club to go to. Perhaps because I've heard Howard Stern repeatedly extol the virtues of Scores New York, I took a chance on Scores of New Orleans. And boy, am I glad I did!

Scores is quite cozy in terms of size, but it definitely has a classy feel. The layout and decor are tasteful, and the staff is friendly and professional. And most importantly, the Scores dancers were positively stunning--both in terms of their beauty and their stage presence. They conveyed a lot of personality during their stage performances, which created a fun, energetic vibe inside the club. And there wasn't a lot of pushiness (which is appreciated). Kudos to Scores' management for having such high standards in terms of which dancers they will hire. I can't say it too many times--they were gorgeous.

Scores is a bit pricey--$40 for LDs. But sometimes you have to pay a little extra for quality. And Scores provides quality in spades.
