stopped back after peeking it an an uncharacteristically slow evening at Rick's (snow days keep a lot of folks indoors around here.) More new faces and hotter dances than i'm used to at a Vu. I don't mean to say that they're on par with some of the other local clubs, but for a Vu club I was impressed. It also appears that at least for now, they're not charging people to use the VIP area. It used to cost 5 bux for the extra ticket, and there is a little more privacy back there. You can only get watched by the dj really, and I'm fairly certain that the dj could care less. seemed to be a little less drink hustle than the old days. There's more of those random dudes who must work there running around, but all in all it seems to be improving.

Since they went to no cover ever (just a 7 dollar drink charge) I have to assume they're either in some sort of financial trouble or they think they can take business away from rick's in the wake of all the political troubles here - locals know what i mean. either way, not bad for a Vu
