This was the first strip club...

This was the first strip club that I have ever been to, and as such, I don't have much to compare it to. My friend had been talking about strip clubs that he has been to in Texas while away at college, so we decide to go to this place because we always see it off the 163 on the way to the mall. We walk in, pay the cover, and I see a guy do a double take and squint at me, as if he recognized me. A second later his face light up, he recognized me! For the life of me I couldn't remember who he is, or where I knew him from. After the odd experience of introducing him to my friend, without saying his name, I realized that I had an econ class with him. As the three of us sat down, he mentioned to me that one of our classmates happened to be working there that night! The room is relatively small with comfy armless chairs next to small tables for drinks. The chairs are about 4 or 5 feet away from the stage. My friend from texas thinks this is odd as he is used to being able to sit up front. We guess that the chairs have to be that far from the stage since the dance is fully nude. Along the walls there are ads playing for porn movies, or something, I wasn't quite clear as I was paying more attention to what was going on onstage. The dancers all were very good looking. Some were incredibly acrobatic, and there dances on the pole reminded me more of cirque du soleil than a strip club routine. A girl asked my friend for a dance, and they whisked away. A girl came up to me and asked me for a dance, I didn't quite want a dance from her, and made the excuse that I was saving my friends drink, forgetting that I had anotehr friend on the other side of me. The dancer asked my friend if he could watch my friends drink, he obliged, and we too, were off to the lapdance area. The price was 20 for a dance. We walk to the corner, and she sits me down, and begins to dance. She mentions that I could touch but we'd have to watch out for the bouncers. She looked paranoid watching out for the bouncers, and in the end didn't let me touch her. Later, I found out that my friend was able to touch his girl, and she slid her top off, but he paid 60 for his dance, which in my naivite thought was entirely too much for a dance. Overall I had a good time, and was dying to go back to see if I could get the same kind of treatment that my friend had. 7/10
