Visited the club on a Friday...
Visited the club on a Friday night and what began with an unfriendly encounter at the front door never improved throughout the rest of the night. The door girl refused to accept a free admission coupon even though there was no expiration date or terms. She stated rudely (just lost your tip) they were not good on weekends. Then I was charged $6 in the lobby for a longneck. The club itself is dark, small and smokey. As you enter the bathrooms are to the left against the back wall, the bar is against the left wall, semi-private VIP rooms (more later) on the right wall, a very, very, small satellite stage is between you and the large main stage which is protruding from the front wall. There is one waitress (very short dark hair with tattoos and piercings) who is very nice and friendly. Please patronize her. The approximatley 15 dancers (some former Platinum Plus dancers) range from 4's to 6.5's with maybe one 7 or 7.5. The higher rated dancers seemed to mostly sit with their friends or non-dance buying customers smoking and drinking all night. I was able to approach a few of the higher-rated dancers after they got off the main stage after their two song sets and requested some VIP dances. I didn't initially negotiate with them to ensure that they were in an accomodating mood. This did not work. Dances were $40.00 with light one-way (dancer) touching and later finally got a 2-for1 for $60.00. The mileage never increased. The rooms themselves are nice with a loveseat and the entrance is open where security or management walks-by and has to make an effort if he wants to monitor the "goings-on". There is a camera from the ceiling in each room, so be AWARE. Not sure if I will patronize this club again. If I do, maybe next time I will explore the day shift or maybe just take a road trip. Not much in Memphis since Platinum Plus is gone. As always YMMV & RIP PP!
