I have found myself visiting New York a lot lately, so I have felt the need to keep trying the clubs and branch ut a little too. I have visited Rick's again since the first trip; and I found it worthwhile to get there early.

At 5:30 entry was free. There was a two drink minimum, which ran me $20 with tips. The atmosphere was pretty laid back; and there wasn't a lot of hustle. I watched the stage show for a while and tipped a few dancers before I decided to take up this tall blonde on her private dance offer.

I was expecting the hard sell for the upstairs, but she actually discouraged it. I figured I'd do a dance or two with her; but I never counted on still being with her eleven songs later. For a place that doesn't let you touch back, and on the main floor near the stage at that, she was about as good as it gets.
