I actually stopped by this club...
I actually stopped by this club on two consecutive nights. I thought about combining my trips into one report, but the difference in the two nights were like, uh, Sunday and Monday? So, let's begin about my Sunday trip.
I wasn't sure what time this place would open on Sunday. I stopped by at 6; the place opened at 3 on Sunday. I tore out a coupon from a local paper so I only paid ten bucks to get in. Oh, and it's all the free soda you can drink which is pretty cool since it's like 100 degrees outside.
The DJ kept saying Sundays is "songs are one third longer" day. Wow, a whole third longer. Well, the songs seemed a bit longer. Or at least longer than the songs played at Spearmint Rhino in Industry. The also had the 2 for 1 dances which meant each dance ended up $10. Or that's the way I figured it out to be. Some dancers charged 3 songs for $40 because it was on side of the club. Really, both areas looked the same to me. Both booths were pretty cramped. And both booths had those timers. I couldn't figure out why since the 2 for 1 dances started when a flashing blue light on the ceiling came on and the dances stopped when the light went off. There must have been a code where the dancer got credit each time she put a twenty in the machine.
