I had just exited from an underwhelming night at Little Darlin's (see my review from a month ago) and I was going to find my way to the strip and play craps at the Hard Rock. But I meandered south on a parallel road and instantly, like an oasis at the desert, I came upon the neon-lit vertical sign for the world-famous Cheetah's. In the mecca of gambling, this had to a be a sign, so I went in. And I'm glad I heeded the call.
Parking is very good. Expansive lot with lots of cars (seemingly very busy for a Thursday night) but I had no problem finding a spot. The great night began with the nice -- yeah, you read that right -- bouncer looking at my out-of-state ID and telling the cashier to get my $5. I thought it was $10. It was the most enthusiastic thank-you I've given yet this millenium.
I walk in and the place is crowded. I mean, fire-hazard crowded. Quite frankly, I love that. I have never seen a party atmosphere like that in a strip club in my life. Oh, and you know what many reviewers here have said about it being dark? All of it is absolutely true. It was so crowded and so dark that I didn't see the dancers at all. It could also be because I was just trying to soak it all in.
