Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Sure, this club, when it was known as Centerfolds, had its issues. But, on occasion, it offered a lot of fun and a pretty good value, both daytime and evenings. But now, as Rick's, it really sucks. The corporate influence is overwhelming.

I gave it a chance the other evening and this is what I found. First, for valet parking, you have two choices. For $5 (upon arrival) they will park your car around the corner of the building (and out of sight). What's the point? Or for only 10 bucks, they will leave it parked in front, close to the entrance. Upon entering, I noticed that aside from the tables in the center of the room, all the booths and side tables now are designated "VIP" and available for an additional charge ($20) over and above the cover charge ($7 to $15). The first level of VIP is $150, which includes a sure-fire headache in a bottle (cheap champagne). I didn't even ask about the level two VIP. The bottom-line is this, no privacy is affordable for the high mileage dances that were once notorious here. The girls were 4 to 8's and the hustle factor huge. Save your money gents and more wisely spend it at the Palace or All-Star's.
