We went to gold club last Friday. It's about 20 minutes from Beale Street. The place was very crowded at 11pm. DJ and atmosphere was pretty cool. It's a big open room with private booths off of it and a stage at one end of the room with a mini stage near the rear. Bartenders and staff were friendly.

The girls were hot and a mix of white and black. The on-stage performances were OK, but the girls would just quickly shove breasts in your face (if that) and take your tip. In all fairness, the crowd wasn't giving them much to work with, and whatever the stage performances lacked was quickly made up for off the stage. The girls seemed very focused on privates and were fun, mingling, and friendly with the whole crowd offstage.

We went to the Pony the next night and, for comparison, Pony had a slightly more upscale atmosphere, had somewhat better looking girls, was more white-oriented, and the girls interacted more with the crowd, and vice-versa, while on stage.
