I visited Hip Hugger on Monday...

I visited Hip Hugger on Monday afternoon, July 30. Although I now live in the Chicago area, I called Kokomo home from 1973 through 1975. The Hugger was in business at that time and is still owned and operated by the same guy. And I can attest to the fact that it hasn't changed much over the years. The new addition added some space, but the atmosphere and quality of the dancers remains the same. After over 30 years in the business, the owner simply knows how to run a strip club. It lacks all the things I hate about the typical strip club (DJ, bouncer, pressure to buy drinks, etc.) and retains all the things that make for a relaxing SCE (hot girls, reasonable prices, and friendly staff).

In the old days (70's and 80's for you youngsters), most clubs offered look-but-don't-touch air dances. Even then the Hugger was ahead of it's time with nice contact with the dancer. Now it's full contact LD, which I've come to expect at a decent club. Unfortunately, it's still hard to find full-contact lappers at a reasonable price. Hip Huggers certainly delivers in that catagory. I find it generally better than Indy clubs, which makes the drive worthwhile. As I mentioned, I live in the Chicago area which has absolutely the worst strip clubs in the USA. It's so bad that I won't even visit a Chicago club. I save my money for those times that my travels take me to Kokomo. This time I drove 2 hours out of my way to visit the place.

Now, if I could only convince the owner to franchise the Hip Hugger concept in the Chicago area.
