In OK City for business and...

In OK City for business and decided to try some of the local clubs. Stopped by Midway around 5:30 on a Tuesday. No cover charge and cheap beer at $2.50 . . . and that was the only good news about the club. There was no music and no one on stage. I had a seat and waited . . . and . . . waited. It gave me plenty of time to admire the ambiance of this dump. Concrete floors, black plastic sheets hanging from one wall, two Korean men arguing at the table behind me, and some juvenile acting redneck running around holding his pool cue at his crotch as he and another patron were having "dick" sword fights with their sticks.

There is only one stage and no stage seating. You sit back at least 15ft from the stage and I later found out the reason; you don't want to see these dancers up close. Finally the music started and after 3 or 4 songs, a dancer finally made her way to the stage. From a distance, she was somewhat attractive. I walked up to the stage to give her a tip and she smiled showing a gaping black hole where her teeth used to be. She did a quick 2 dances then left the stage. As expected the music stopped again. As I waited another 10 minutes, some of the other girls walked the room and chatted with regulars. I actually avoided making eye contact just so they wouldn't come over. I was about to leave when the night shift started rolling in and I really mean rolling in. 3 fat (not plump, fat) white chicks came in followed by a skeletal shaped black girl. It was defiantly time to leave.

I'm actually a nice, kind person and generally give a club and dancers the benefit of the doubt. I always tip well regardless of the dancers' looks because she's up there trying her best to make a living. This was just a horrible place. I'm giving it a 3 rating only because I may have caught them on a really bad night.
