Costs a bit more, and it's worth it! I've had private experiences with Penelope, Alena, and Carmen, and they all know how to be personable in just the right way. The mixed drinks generally run about $9 (too high!), for yourself or a dancer; the sodas are $5; a single lapper is $40; a half-hour in a room (very private, nice big room with couch and chair and pillows and closed door) is minimum $300 (and you're expected to tip the waitress approximately $40! that seems to be the going rate). I frankly don't like the fact that "up close and personal time" is so limited with these women, but they're all of high enough caliber that I frankly have to say I enjoy it despite the price. I am not a "high end" consumer on most things, and have been known to haggle for a nickel off my coffee at the Starbuck's, but Scores (for now) has a premium in New Orleans on the best girls with the best attitudes and looks. Penthouse used to have it, but now that there and the Larry Flynt clubs have basically realized that NOLa is a down-market type of clientele (more frat boys than anything else) there's really not much of a niche to cater to the upscale or even to the reliable. Larry will probably make more money than the owners of Scores, and things will probably eventually change at Scores in order to keep pace with what customers are on the street (find a market, THEN design a product!), but for now it's a very enjoyable place to be. No cover charge, so far. I think they should keep it that way, since the girls sell themselves because they are of such high quality. One chick last night was an absolute DEMON on the pole, way too high-energy and electric for me to want anything "sexy" with her, but she sure was fun to watch. And other guys lapped her up right away!
