Things have been pretty stable at Fantasia lately. I've been getting more hits than misses during VIP dances than just prior to my previous review a few months ago. This is mostly due to my visits being during weeknights instead on the weekends. The one dancer (my current favorite) whom I referred to in my last review as no longer doing very many VIP dances does in fact still do them frequently (for myself included) during the two weeknights she works. One would assume it is in order to avoid the relentless stage rotation as there are fewer dancers scheduled Mon-Thur and each girl who isn't doing VIPs can dance several stage sets per hour if the other dancers are staying busy upstairs. Factor in that since there are fewer patrons in the club on the slow nights it also means less tips per set while on stage. On the weekend nights there are many more dancers in the rotation so each girl only does a set every couple of hours or so and each trip to the stage tends to yield much better in terms of tips with ten times as many patrons in the seats. Apparently this leads her to want to hang around downstairs all night and coerce the young guys who probably can't afford a VIP anyway to buy her all the beer she wants while she collects enough in stage tips to make it unnecessary to make many trips upstairs. Other dancers who do work the VIPs harder on the weekends are also easier to get upstairs with on the weeknights since there is less competition from other customers and the dancers tend to compete a little more for your business. So as I have recommended many times before, if you know what nights the dancer you're looking for works, hit Fantasia on a weeknight. On the other hand, if you want to check out all the new ladies and see most of the current roster in one visit, go in on Friday night. A lot of the girls who do really well Friday night tend to no-show Saturday if they can get away with it.

One caveat. I have always recommended to do whatever negotiating for VIP dances is needed before paying or moving to the VIP area. This is one of my rules while visiting any club. I did have a dancer mention to me they can get in trouble (up to and including being fired) for discussing extras while still downstairs. I have not had the opportunity to test this as all of my VIP's since then have been with girls I already knew and I pretty much just said "Same as last time?" to which they agreed. If true, in time this will make it much more difficult to find which new dancers are willing to do what, if any, extras. Since by the time you are alone in the VIP room you will have already paid your money for the songs and the clock will already be ticking, she will have much more leverage when negotiating dances. I expect this will drive prices up. Just the other day on another site I read that one of my favorites quoted rates to the reviewer that were about 50% higher than what she gets from me. Since I have not yet confirmed this, I did not factor it into my club rating for this review, but if it is in fact the new reality at Fantasia it will have a significant negative impact for both my frequency of visits there and the club's score in my reviews.
