Revisited this club again on a...

Revisited this club again on a recent business trip to the DFW area. I've been to the club 10 or 15 times, and in my opinion it's gone slowly downhill since it opened several years ago. Any club has it's ups and downs based on the time of day, day of the week and of course, on what dancers happen to be working on the day of your visit, but lately I've had many more "down" days than "up" days (pun intended). In all my visits I have not tried the VIP room so my comments do not reflect what might be a totally different experience there.

On this visit, which was on a Friday evening from about 6:00 - 8:00pm (get there before 7:00 pm and the cover charge is $10 instead of $20) there were plenty of dancers and it was still too early to be crowded so the dancer/patron ratio was favorable, but the problem was that the dancers ranged from 2 to 6 and most appeared very bored both on stage and as they trolled though the audience. There was one dancer who probably tipped the scales at over 200 lbs and although she was pretty tall, she was still what I would undiplomatically call "fat". She had huge breasts though, and that may have been her niche. Not for me though.

There seems to be more high pressure selling for laps and this turns me off very quickly. I say this relative only to previous experiences in this club - by comparison to the sales tactics in other clubs (which can be downright obnoxious), even the hard-sell girls in the GC really aren't that bad.
