If you've traveled from Manhattan to New Jersey via the Holland Tunnel you probably have passed this place more than once. It used to be called "Carousel Club" and truly this place left you wondering, was it worth the ride? Now, renamed Mystique (new management?), the place is far from the title. In fact, it is the diametric opposite: they should've named it WYSIWYG because what you see IS what you get. The place is seedy... not necessarily dank and filthy but it's a dark-sided/raunch-behind-closed-doors spot. Girls are in the 2-5 range with 1 or 2 8's. But, if you are looking for personal action and 1-on-1 fun, you can receive it... with a couple of trips to the ATM machine. Enter the facility and you are in a transit area for the VIP section, "arcade" area, and bathrooms, the stage and lap dance area are in the next room. There is one stage with seats around it and circular tables along the wall. If you have read this far and have sat down, then you might be in for the "long haul." ADVICE: Sit along the wall and take in the situation. Uninvite any dancers who want to sit and "chat." If they aren't what you are looking for, then GAME OVER, they're there for a long time. If you see something you like, dancing or "in transit," make it known... else you are in for the LONG HAUL. BTW, the LONG HAUL ends with a wasted cover, a $5 bottle of water, and a handful of disappointment. Lap dances are ($20? I think)... tips will get you a full show. Usually there is talk about the V.I.P. It is pricey, I think 1/2 hour (which *could* be 20 minutes with delays) runs $300. Better tips; better service and opportunities. There are regulars there to: couples and girl/girls who hang out for fun. Get a girl who is a 6-8 and drop ~$400 and it's ok... just ok... the right negotiation and you can get REAL phone numbers, etc. ... if that's what you want.
