I visited "Peanuts and Beer" in...

I visited "Peanuts and Beer" in Tijuana, Mexico on a Saturday night. I sat down beside the Runway style stage. There was no cover charge but I paid $4 for the coke that I ordered. It was difficult to see what the girls on the stage looked like because the place was so dark and I think the darkness also takes away from the fun atmosphere. The girls appeared to have a pretty good shape but this is about all you could tell even up close. They kept their tops and short skirts on. Their skirts did reveal the girl's bottom. I watched two girls put on their show and then left. I did not particularly enjoy my visit and I do not plan to return.

From the U. S., I drove down Interstate 805 to the border. The parking lot I used charges $15 on Friday and Saturday nights. They charge $8 on other nights. The border was just a short distance away. There was a Mexican bus parked near the border. For $5 the bus took me across the border and into downtown Tijuana to their terminal on "Revolucion". The bus saved me from having to walk across the border but I had to walk a few blocks on "Revolucion" to get to "Peanuts and Beer". It was somewhat difficult to find. I expected to see a conspicuous sign on "Revolucion" street. But all I saw was a sign that said Peanuts and in smaller characters Girls. When you walk into the alley by this sign you then see the sign for "Peanuts and Beer".
