Marks Showplace is definitely a good...

Marks Showplace is definitely a good time, fun and friendly atmosphere and beautiful women! They have a rock club next door with billiards and a small boutique for the ladies too, so on most nights you might catch a great rock show and see some great dancers all in one shot. Costs are pretty reasonable, but if you're not drinking expect to pay 3-4 dollars for just a small cup of soda. The club is nice, fairly good sized and comfortable. There are 3 stages, the large main stage in the middle and 2 smaller stages at either side, and when I went there all 3 stages were being used so you had your choices. The waitstaff was friendly, and the girls (both the dancers as well as the servers) would come and sit right next to you and ask you about your day. There are more private areas of the club too so if you're shy you can catch a great dance without being in the center of it all. I saw one dancer leave the main stage after her act and then go to the smaller stage to the left (left if you're sitting directly facing the main stage) and do a dance for only about 3 guys, so much more personal. The music is good, great variety and not too loud and annoying to give you a total head ache.

Security isn't so bad, they're not all over you but they're very strict about safety...which actually makes you feel safe knowing nobody will try anything stupid there. I passed my friend a rolled up dollar bill walking into the club and he stuck it in his pocker, within 2 minutes he had security taking him outside asking "what was passed to him and why he was concealing it" but we didn't mind because they weren't overly "tough guys" or being mean.

As for the dancers.....stunning. Incase you've never been, the girls wear teeny tiny micro thongs and small clear pasties over their nipples and until you're up close you can hardly tell. I've seen dancers who can dance but haven't a clue how to work a pole...we saw a girl who just started, yes we had the pleasure of seeing her dance on her first night ever dancing and she knew the pole better than some strippers I have seen at other clubs working for much longer. So maybe they give them good lessons, not sure, all I know is the dancing is great. The girls are so friendly, and polite. When they compliment you it's different than the flirting you get at most clubs, you know most girls are just trying to take your money but these girls appeared very genuine and real, they smiled and laughed and played with you so you felt like you were having a good time and not just being smoothed over for your cash.

Over all I would say this is a great place to go for a great time any night of the week!
