Hit the Landing Strip last Friday...

Hit the Landing Strip last Friday night to see how things were after the management change in January. Last trip, mid-May, the club was slow and the girls were lackluster. There were a couple, honestly only a couple, of good looking girls but most of the crew looked a bit shopworn and tired. Maybe 6's or 7's, and nothing that tempted me much. The best looking girl in the club sat with me and said she'd been there two days, never a good sign.

This trip was a bit of an improvement. Still lots of new faces, but this time the crew looked decidedly better. While still not up to the "good old days," when the Strip was a Top 10 club there were a fair number of solid 8's that could have tempted me to try them out. Could have, because there were also several old favorites including Raquell, Amanda and June all of which I had enjoyed dancing with in the past. I picked one of them and went upstairs for several great dances. My dancer was very available, most affectionate and she also counted off the dances clearly, asked to continue and when we were through continued to pay attention to me for the short while before her stage turn, all pluses in my book. Cover is now $10, booths still go for a $20 tip, it still costs $5 to get upstairs to the dance couches, the couches are still less than comfortable and the music is too loud and rapped out, but when you find a dancer that turns you on and treats you right, the Landing Strip can be ok.
