I had some time to kill near Woonsocket recently, and decided to give K2U a try. I arrived on a Thursday night at about 10:00, and the place was pretty dead, I think the cover was $10. There were maybe 6 or 8 patrons sitting around the low stage area where one very ordinary (4?) dancer was "performing." I took a seat on a high chair by the wall where I could scope out the whole place. There were another 8 or 10 folks at the bar, and quickly it was very clear to me that the crowd was all 'regulars' who seemed to know each other. In a small area behind a low wall a decent looking gal (maybe a 6 or 7) was doing chair massages. There was only one other dancer in evidence, and she was sitting at the bar with the locals.

The dancer on stage stayed near a group of guys she seemed to know and didn't make any attempt to engage with anyone else. When she was done with her set she was replaced by a little better looking gal (mabye a 6-7) and immediately disappeared downstairs into the private dance area with a guy who had been in the group she had been engaged with. This next dancer was a little better looking so I took a seat at the stage, and for the rest of her set I attempeted to give her a tip, but was totally ignored. After her set, she too disappeared, and was replaced by another not very special dancer. The massuse was probably the best looking employee in the place, and after she was finished with her client, she too took a seat at the bar without any attmept to engage the customers (I would have gone for it, but I wasn't going to chase her to the bar and beg her to do her job).

At this point I realized how hopeless the place was and decided to cut my losses and head to Providence.
