Came here after trying out French...
Came here after trying out French Quarter earlier in the night. My first impression was that this club is a nice size after being a little cramped at the other place. Not much activity was going on that I could see...looking back at the night now, if they could have had the other club's atmosphere and number of people in this size of setting, I think it would have been a great night.
Not much tipping going on...the dancers seemed to show up on stage and then disappear to whatever table they were working the customers at...had been warned that they are a bit "hard-sell" at this club, but I felt almost ignored for about a rotation (an hour?). First girl to come by my table asked and I accepted a private. Not bad...but nothing to write home about. Afterwards, as I was standing at the bar getting another Coke, a cute black girl named Sasha came up next to me and rubbed against me (I had tipped her on stage earlier...but I had tipped all the girls when they got on stage) and asked if I wanted company. Let me say at this point that I had been looking forward to trying her out based on the impression I got from her on stage...so it only took me a few seconds to ask her for a private...great choice. This girl is so sweet, I wanted to put a cherry in her belly and eat her like a sundae.
My biggest complaint about this place is the general attitude....was asked/told to tip the waitress and bartender a number of times after they performed some minor task...which would not be a problem normally for me as I usually tip after every drink I buy...but it being mentioned immediately after I buy a drink...or after I pay for a private... it just rubbed me wrong. Opened a tab for the privates I did with Sasha and, as I was closing it at the end of the night, the bartender (after informing me of my total costs of $200 + a 10% fee)asks if I want to put a tip for her and the waitress on it too. Now, mind you, I had not purchased even one drink or service thru the waitress...so this kind of soured my opinion. Why am I being asked to tip someone who has performed no service for me? If I am feeling great and decide to give people money just for existing, that is fine...but don't ask me for it.
