It's been six months since I...

It's been six months since I sent a review on this place and in some ways, much has changed yet it is still the same Amber's. Cover is up to $7 but it is free before 6 p.m. so get there early. Unfortunately, if you show just before 6, you'll get a heavy push for dances and drinks from the dayshift (until they leave at 7). The day shift is pretty average, though spend some time with Tonya whose dances are outstanding. The rest will bitch and moan about how little money they are making. The night shift is a lot of fun (sisters Mandy & Susie, Shannon and Lauren are a few you'd enjoy. The quality of dancer ranges during the day from a 5-8 and from 6-9 during the night shift. There is a huge turnover among the dancers (there is probably just one or two working nights that was here in December and maybe 3-4 on the day shift) so don't get accustomed to having an ATF because you'll show up one day and she'll be gone. The biggest downside to this place is the constant push to sell drinks. At $8 a pop, this can get costly because the girls have to sell 12 a night, they can really put them down and the waitresses are like hawks, constantly circling in search of an empty glass. This is even worse on Sunday's when they can only sell beer and wine but won't let the girls drink beer, meaning that most of the drinks are simply flavored water. The dances are what makes this place work. There is a small area for private dances and depending on the time, you might get a dance with four or five other people just a foor or so away or you will be buy yourself. There are no extras available in the club though some girls will show you how well they drive a stick shift. Bottom Line: If you are going for the girls, enjoy. If you want to pinch pennies and enjoy a night on the town, go find someplace else because this place will drain as much money as you have (Note: Don't use the ATM in the club because the fee to use it is $20 -- just another example of management hitting you for every possible dollar.)
