Went earlier this week during the day shift. Have been "the vu" too many times in the past to remember, and have always been a dayshift guy, but hadn't been in since Feb. On this last trip I was pretty disappointed. There seems to be a big upswing in the amount of hustle being offered by the girls. Example: Was approached by dancer C***la who asked if I wanted a dance. I had remembered her from my last visit and she had given a good dance and was pretty cool so I said sure and we proceeded upstairs to the VIP bed section. As we did we were approached by the drink girl, as usual, who asked if I'd like to buy the lady a drink. Now let it be known that I never buy a drink for the girl as I'd rather just give her the damn money and not let the club take it's cut. However before I could even answer with a no, this dancer says sure I'd love one, and what do ya know I apparently just bought her a drink. Then after our bed dance the dancer asks me for $70.00 on a $60.00 dance, and then asks me for a tip on a dance that was only average!!! Whats truly sad is this dancer used to be alot of fun, and never showed any of these tendencies as far as I can remember. Oh well, such is "the Vu". It's always been known as a hit or miss club and that still hasn't changed. I guys it will be another 6 months or so till I try this one again. For any of you heading to the Twin Cities and looking for a "fun" dayshift try Choice, (try a dance with Bri, Victoria, Paradise, Buena, and Natasha) or Dreamgirls (ironically owned by the same guys who own Deja Vu). If you go to Dreamgirls get a drink at Sneaky Petes (right next door) and get your cover charge waived. Then may I recommend a dance with Nikki who is smart, pretty, and knows how to have fun.
