I've had a lot of fun...

I've had a lot of fun at the Minx. The interior is sort of minimalist, but they have some hot looking gals here. Much like other Iowa BYOB's there is no bar (not even a juice one) just a vending machine, so its best to pick up some beverages before you come in. I don't think bottles or hard liquor is allowed, just canned beer or sodas. You will be frisked at the door and your cooler will be searched. Other than that, the $10 cover is good for the night as long as you have your wristband, so if you run out of brewskies or what have you, you can restock your cooler and come back.

You get a pretty good show at the stage when you tip here, some could almost argue too good (and a sign behind the stage explicitly says that you're supposed to tip). LD's in the Velvet room are $25. Well worth the price as other reviews have suggested. :-)

Not too far from I-80/35, so worth a stop if you're in DSM or just passing through.
