Good grind, decent dancers, very high cover.

It had been two years since my last visit to the Players Club. Some things are still the same - good lap dances with plenty of freedom and no hassle, easy going attitude from the dancers and staff in general (except for the grumpy doorman), and the cheap decor.

But two things have changed that demote the place. (1) The quality of dancers on average is not as high as it was. On a scale of 1-10, the range was 5-8 while I was there. (2) The stage show was tame, and the feel of the club overall was sedate. That's not entirely show - there was a bachelor party that got their marrying man on stage, and the dancers worked him well - but the look on the girls' faces was pure disinterest. They were going through the motions. Part of that was the crowd, too, but part of what I liked in the past was the rowdy atmosphere.
