A Thursday night visit to Castawys reveals that while the faces may change, the setting and the script remain the same. I arrived about 9 and left around 11;30. $5 cover, $3 sodas though they have started serving the soda in full sized glasses, not the tiny ones they used to use. Not many customers, never more than 5 at the stage and probably no more than 10 total in the bar at any time. Eight girls working, all in the 6-8 range. A good show for your dollar, no real action stage-side. The girls circulated after their sets and offered dances, all were friendly none put on the hard hustle. Didn't indulge in any LD as the LD area remains the brightest spot in the club and mileage has never been very high here. Maybe with the right girl, but none of them clicked for me. Castawys remains a neighborhood type hangout with some nekkid chicks wandering around. Small, friendly, non-threatining the kind of strip club you'd take a bachelor party to if the father of the bride was coming along.
