Axe is a lovely old Victorian...

Axe is a lovely old Victorian pub which has been very poorly maintained over the past few years and is now so tatty outside it looks derelict. Inside it's all frayed carpets etc bar service is slow and beer quality poor. Stage shows are short and pathetically unenthusiastic and it's £3 to get in unless you are there very early in the afternoon. Girls are OK but not of the standard of the White Horse or Browns and there are lots of them, 12 or 15 in the afternoon and 20+ later on. The house fee is high so the girls have to hustle hard for private dances. These take place in what looks like a shanty town hut without a roof at the back and involve much more contact than at Browns though not as much as at private parties. The hot private dances are this venues only selling point, everything else is rubbish.
