Onyx is a pretty great club...

Onyx is a pretty great club of its sort. Having worked here as a waitress and know what it's REALLY like I only ranked it a 7. Most of the dancers are pretty nice looking as long as you like the black female figure, this is not the club to go to if you're looking for the cliche blond haired inflated breast type. (Houston has many other great clubs that offer that.) Onyx generally does well with hiring girls with talent so the entertainment aspect is always up to par if you have the right amount of cash. The dancers are friendly with the CUSTOMERS and even more friendly if you come with extra amounts of cash. DJ's great, playing a nice urban assortment, Management is pretty cool, and the club setup offers a variety of scenery. Most of the waitresses are pretty good at their job as long as you remember to tip. Overall pretty good club, one of the best in Houston for Urban Entertainment. Also try Onyx South on Airport Blvd.
