I visited Christie's Cabaret twice, first on a Sunday evening and then the following Tuesday (after being somewhat disappointed with the Gold Horse Saloon). Sunday, there were ten dancers, all quite beautiful (7 to 10) and all fairly erotic while on stage. Each danced two songs, but they spent too much time collecting tips (meanwhile ignoring everyone else) to make for an exciting evening. Tuesday was much better. There were over forty gorgeous dancers (again 7 to 10), and almost all were excellent stage dancers. Even better, at all times and unlike Sunday evening, there were always two dancers on the stage at a time, one in her first song (with her clothes on but slowly coming off), and the other in her second song (with her clothes off). This nicely offset the potentially boring moments when one was tip collecting, and made for a very nice stage show. The only drawback was that some of the girls removed their clothes rather boringly at the back of the stage, rather than artfully on stage. But, overall, my Tuesday at Christie's was one of the best strip club stage shows I've ever seen.

I've emphasized the really nice stage show at Christie's because the private dances at Christie's are quite another story. They give new meaning to "bad." Over the course of the two evenings, I bought private dances from four different girls, and, of the fifty or so private dances I've had in my lifetime, they ranked 47, 48, 49, and 50. Two were air dances, and the other two involved some contact but seemed designed only to be irritating; I think this was actually due to inexperience on the dancers' part. Anyway, private (and they aren't so private either, as they're in the main room) dances at Christie's should be avoided.

If and when I return to Cleveland (and if Cleveland's new insane anti-strip club law is somehow defeated), I plan go to Christie's for the stage show and then maybe to the Gold Horse Saloon for a private dance or two.
