First Time at Hanks, Thursday afternoon

I originally submitted this under the wrong establishment (Silver Criket). But this, below, is my first visit to Henry VIII.

In the area for work for about a week, I decided to try Henry's for the first time... interested in how the experience would be after reading very mixed reviews here. Arrived at about 3:30pm on a Thursday. Henry's is a small dive club with a fenced-in lot. I was there during daylight hours and felt safe. 5 dollar cover. The inside has been described in very good detail on here. It's very much no frills. I got a seat at the bar near the stage. There were about 5 customers and probably about 10 girls. Two were white, the rest were black. Two had body types too large for me (and I am definitely okay with some curves). I got a beer and took in the scene. No one was smoking at that moment but it was still very smoky (actually washed my clothes in my hotel sink the next day, as they were making my room smell like smoke).

I was immediately approached by several girls, with a minute or two in between. When I politely told the first girl, "no thanks, I just got here, I want to relax a bit," she was very cool about it and gave me her menu if I happened to be interested later, and then said, "get ready because every girl is gonna come to you now one by one." She was right. For about 15 minutes I was having 1 minute "no thank you" conversations with girls one after another, with a slight break in between. Several of them offered their menus before they said goodbye. Several of them were initiating the Henry Handshake that I had l learned about from reading reviews here. There were two girls I was interested in, and I was patiently waiting for their turns to come to me.
