Same But Different

To save time for those expecting a bar, club, or anything remotely close, I'll off the bat reiterate the warning I gave in my previous review of this shop: here, you will find nothing more than a little eye candy and overpriced coffee. For those still curious, read on.

Another business trip to Houston, which at some point always means another visit to my favorite cigar shop in this area, which always leads to a passing visit to this shop. I never go out of my way to come here (and recommend that you don't either), but when in the area, I'm certain to stop-in for a pick-me-up.

As is standard for their late-morning Fridays, there were three women working. Where this visit was different from my many in the past, was that one of the women was AA. I thought perhaps she was just an Afro-Cubana, but after hearing her take someone else's order, it was clear that she was American. I by no means have a problem with AA women; I was just surprised as previously I'd only ever seen White, Latina, and half-Asian women working here. Another surprise was that all three (AA and two Latinas) that were working were a "hard 7", at least in my opinion; usually, only one will be above a "hard 6". A nice touch on this visit was the flag theme (for the World Cup) that all three chose for their "uniforms"; the two Latinas were wearing matching Team Mexico bikinis, while the AA was sporting Team Portugal colors.
