Solid Friday Afternoon

I had planned a trip to Club Blaze for early in the afternoon but did not arrive until after 4:00 and the parking lot had many cars in it already. Given the size of the club, I thought a better option would be Vivide. I arrived at Vivide a little before 5:00 and parked in the dirt lot behind the fence. I typically park there as you are not charged the $10 parking fee. I was asked for $10 for parking as I entered and told them I parked in the outer lot and they waved me through. There is a $10 cover and a light pat down to get in.

You enter Vivide at the top level which has some booths to the left and a number of tables w/ a bar to the right. The top level was primarily filled with dancers scrolling on their phone. I proceeded around the outside of the club to the back stairwell and went to the bottom floor. I surveyed the booths from the stairs and found many open spots. There are many booths on the lower level with a bar along one wall and very small stage in the center of the booths.

The club seemed slow for that late in the afternoon. I got a beer at the bar ($6) and proceeded to a large booth near the stage in the center of the room.
