Was expecting better on a Friday night
I visited Club Risque around 10 PM on a Friday night. There was a good selection of dancers, mostly in their late 20s or older. The lineup was fairly diverse, with a mix of Black, White, Hispanic, and one Asian dancer that I noticed.
When you walk in, there's a bouncer and a metal detector at the entrance. Cover charge was $10. Inside, there are tables on the right where you can sit, and directly ahead is a large rectangular bar with two stages. Dancers rotate between the stages, coming down a spiral staircase to one stage and then moving to the other after the next song. After their stage set, they do a tip walk around the club. One thing I liked is that if you're sitting at the tables, they generally don't pressure you for tips.
I was offered the "Champagne Room" (their VIP area upstairs), but declined because it was around $250. Instead, I got several lap dances, which are only $20 each. The lap dance area is behind a curtain to the right of the seating area. You pay the bouncer before going back, and he was friendly and easy to deal with.
