sinclair's Review

I was in the Iron Range on a Saturday night, so I went to the Gladiator Bar at 21:15. Parking is free on the street. Broadway Street is peppered with a half dozen bars, but the Gladiator Bar is the only one with peelers. There was no cover to enter. The inside is decorated with beer signs. There is a long bar on the left wall. Then there is a lone pool table beyond that. The stage is located in the back right. It has a pole that is stationary and about seven feet tall. The stage is surrounded by a tipping counter with stools that are bolted into the floor. Music is picked by the dancers off of a TouchTunes jukebox. There is a doorway on the left wall just past the bar that leads to an outdoor patio. Several locals were smoking marijuana outside. Sincweisers were $5. Despite the Grain Belt beer signs inside, there was no Grain Belt served. Dr. McGillicuddy shots were $4. Bar pizzas, chips, and beef jerky are offered for those with the munchies.

I was told that the Gladiator Bar tries to have four dancers per night. There were only two dancers working the Saturday night I visited: Dixie and Katie. The dancers would do three song sets on stage. Tippers were allowed to grope the dancers. Yes, you can touch the dancers’ tits and asses on the stage. I can’t recall another strip club in the Land of 10,000 Lakes that allows this much contact at the stage. Unfortunately, the best looking female that I saw at the Gladiator Bar was a female customer that came with her boyfriend.
