Night Time at Vivide
I was back in Atlanta on a work trip and decided to turn it into a weekend vacation. After an event near the Braves stadium, I decided to check out Vivide. I took an Uber to avoid the $10 parking fee. This time, the bouncer did a full pat-down, which was very different from my previous daytime visit. The cover charge was $30, if I remember correctly, which still isn't bad compared to other clubs around the country.
You enter on the second floor directly next to the 2nd floor bar. The vibe was completely different from the day shift. Vivide has two bars, one on each floor, and the bartenders were all friendly and gorgeous. As soon as I walked in, I headed to the first floor. The lighting wasn't too dark, and the atmosphere felt more like a nightclub than a typical sc. The girls on stage looked like they were genuinely having fun rather than just working.
As the night went on, the place got even more crowded. The DJ did a solid job mixing music and keeping the energy up. It is Vivide, after all, so I had a few dancers offer private dances, which I happily took advantage of. The dances were reasonably priced at $20, although I never saw those dancers again afterwards. During the day shift, most of the dancers seemed to be Cuban, but I didn't notice as many at night. The girls offered private rooms which are basically curtains covering parts of the club. Prices felt extremely high from what I was told $100 for the room and $300 for her.
