Brutal dollar parade underneath a great little cigar bar
Needed an adventure, so made the trip to this place, intrigued by their website and the fact that there was a cigar lounge attached I could retreat to. Their website sounds like the exact kind of place you would want to frequent - happy hour every day, bartender schedules, and specials for nearly every day of the week. Wednesday special was supposedly $5 local craft beers, so I figured that was the play.
The club is very close to the Watsessing rail station. The entrance to the upstairs cigar bar faces the street - I believe you have to knock and be let in, or you can walk around to the parking lot and enter the club directly - no bouncer or anything.
The space has a large L-shaped stage with a swing on one end and a few poles. The stage is bordered by a very large bar and lots of stools. There are a few low tables off to one side in a very dark corner as well. Asked the bartender about the local beers, said they had two local IPAs, wasn't sure what they were, so just had her give me the most popular one. Was charged $9, but I wasn't going to make a stink about it.
