It has been some time since...

It has been some time since I last stopped in. And it may be some time before I swing by again. The club has slipped a little since my last visit. Oh, the beers are still relatively cheap, and the $5 lap dances still can give you great bang for the buck (so to speak) provided you luck into the right dancer. And the caliber of girls is still relatively the same if not slightly improved -- I didn't see the traditional over-40 "what the hell is she still doing dancing" stripper nor did anybody on stage look like they had just consumed a chain of McDonald's restaurants. But there used to be a lot of interplay and horseplay between the girls, and there used to be a lot more flirtation and titilation (okay, time to lay off the puns) in visits past than there was on this last visit. I left feeling that this was just another strip club, with no stories to tell. Which is why this review is so flat.

From an economic standpoint, $5 laps are great and $20 VIPs are reasonable compared to other clubs. And none of the girls I saw on my recent night out were so horrible that I wanted to gouge my eyes out with a spoon. But unlike visits past, I feel that I can wait awhile before crossing paths with L&L Gastonia again.
