Mickey’s is Backsliding

The basics:

Weird location away from everything in a residential neighborhood. Big parking lot, well lit, nondescript exterior. Entry through two metal doors. Metal detector inside and a bouncer. No cover. Cash only. Enter in and you’re faced with a giant square bar that doubles as a catwalk/stage, with pool tables to your right and a seating lounge and smaller stage to the left.

Sat down at the bar and got a beer ($6 plus tip). Drank most of it watching the NBA finals before I was approached by a fat Indian dancer (Mona? Mena?). Talked at me for like ten minutes, rubbing my leg, perfectly nice but just…fat.
