It's okay for beginners.
We arrived around 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday night. The cover charge was $10, and before entering, each person also had to give the security guard an additional $5. Once inside, a bartender quickly came over to ask what we wanted to drink; even the cheapest drinks cost at least $12. If you didn’t order anything, the staff seemed to take a harder line, and there was even a sense of pressure that we might be kicked out. So if you just want to go in and take a look, it’s best to set aside some money for drinks.
Since we arrived relatively early on a Tuesday night, the place was nearly empty at first. Most of the dancers were sitting near the bar chatting, and we waited quite a while before anyone took the stage to dance. The atmosphere was a bit subdued when we first walked in—not quite the lively scene I’d imagined. Still, a few attractive dancers with a proactive attitude did come over to chat.
It’s important to note that there’s a lot of upselling going on inside. For example, after my friend was told by a dancer that he could “have fun,” he spent $120 in less than 15 minutes. Although we later confirmed the prices and realized they weren’t particularly outrageous for this kind of place, it’s still easy to spend money without fully understanding the costs if it’s your first time there. So, I recommend asking about all the prices before you go in and not agreeing to anything right away just because of the atmosphere or the dancer’s persuasion.
Around midnight, the place started to get busier, and the atmosphere noticeably improved. The stage performances became more frequent, no longer leaving long gaps like at the beginning. Overall, if you want to experience a better atmosphere, it might be better to come a bit later.
The dancers are definitely more interactive and better at livening up the atmosphere when customers are spending money. If it’s your first time and you want to check out a place like this, you can give it a try, but I recommend bringing enough money, asking about prices upfront, and not arriving too early. They offer private dances here. If you tip the dancers, there’s a good chance of physical contact. Overall, the experience in the latter half of the night is much better than when you first walk in.
