Interesting concept

I wanted to dip my toe in the Viet coffee shop scene to see what was going on. It's an interesting concept which I think mainly works as a daytime club. The concept is to have a coffee shop with partly naked girls ready to chat up typically guys who are interested in talking with them for a few dollars.

The idea is that you go there a coffee or iced tea. The girls will come by and ask if you want company or if you want a refill on your drink every few minutes. Typically during this process they are at least topless and expect a couple dollars for refilling your drink. The drink actually initially costs $8 here and that acts as a cover charge. In addition, you can order other drinks at various slightly inflated prices, things like smoothies or hot coffee et cetera. As far as I know no food is offered.

The girls are generally on the younger side and very often either Asian or Filipino or possibly some Latinos. If you accept their invite to visit for a bit they will sit with you and explain what they offer, since all offer slightly different things. You might have to visit with a few to get the lay of the land.
