Very Inconsistent

I had a rare opportunity to go out to DD at 10pm on a Friday. Ordinarily this is “prime time” strip clubbing, when the hottest girls are working. Unfortunately this was not the case at Diamond Dolls on this particular Friday.

I arrived to the club and the parking lot was almost completely full, which is usually a good sign. I paid $2 outside, and $15 inside. No ID check, no pat down. I went to the bathroom to the right, and then back into the main bar area. There were not any seats available at the main bar, across from the runway stage, and there were not any chairs available at the low tables. The fact that about a dozen girls were taking up seats clustered together while chatting among themselves and looking at their phones didn’t help. I just stood at the corner of the main bar, where I could take in the entire club, and ordered a $7 beer.

There were two dancers on the main stage, on staggered sets, and one girl on the ground level pole. They were doing a typical 3 song rotation, clothed, topless, nude, but no one put much energy into their dances, and no one was tipping at the stage. Despite the crowded club, the VIP booths at the rear of the club were open most of the time I was there since very few customers (if any) were taking girls to VIP. I have been here when there was a line to get into the VIP rooms, but not this night. It could have been because of the 3/$100 policy instead of $25/dance, or it may have been because the talent was really off.
