Comprehensive First HK Trip Report

I finally made it from Las Vegas and I must say, it was worth the hype and more. Get ready for a long report...

The Setup:

As a married man (early 40s), I was lucky enough to be given the hall pass to go to HK by my wife (for comparison sakes, my wife is a 9/10). What makes her a bigger queen is that fact that I got I got to go with my son (Step son/her first born) as long as I went with him and my best friend came along. My son is an officer in the Navy and he just returned from a little deployment and was promoted to O2 and he asked that I come down to San Diego to pin him his new rank (which I did) and later that night we would celebrate by going to HK. Neither my son nor I speak Spanish so this is why my best friend since middle school coming was crucial. He drove in all the way from Palm Springs and he arrived around 8:00 p.m. He took a quick shower and by 9:00 p.m., we headed to the border.
