Surprisingly Good

Exceeded my expectations - in some ways not in others.

I was expecting a show club type place with lots of glamor, and exxxpensive decor. Those expectations went out the window when I finally found it in a bank of shop looking buildings. It's in a block of buildings between the freewaay and Folsom (?) BLVD where one would normally see a transmission shop, a car upholstery shop. You know...industrial.

In front is a doorman watching the parking lot. Entering, was a sign to pay cover at the bar. Slow on traffic earlyish -10 PM - on a Tuesdy night. Once inside, it's tastefully decorated, comfortable chairs. A bar where just N.A. drinks are sold. Maybe a kitchen. One lady takes care of the bar, keeping chairs straightened up, collecting cover, etc.
