Monday and Friday Lurker

Club Desire in Providence is a solid local spot if you’re looking for a laid-back strip club without the Miami-style party scene. I’m slowly becoming a regular, after a serious break up and fed up with BS from women, so I explore mostly Mondays, Fridays.

The area is generally safe, but still be alert. There’s free parking out front. Valet is available at the front door. It’s 21+ to enter. Friday cover is usually $15. They have a metal detector, ID check if you look young, no license scan, and no hoodies or hats. Management and staff have always been pretty chill, respectful and easy to deal with.

Drinks are normal strip club prices: about $8 for beer and $15–20 for mixed drinks. Cash only, ATM inside. The crowd i notice is mostly middle-aged to older guys, with some couples and groups mixed in. It’s usually relaxed and low-drama.
