Power hour delivers

It's been a few months since I visited so some of the details are fuzzy, but here goes. No 5 Orange is in a questionable area of downtown. I wouldn't feel very safe walking along the streets there. Parking is ridiculously expensive but it's downtown so whatever I guess.

I went to this club a couple of years back and liked it, so decided to go again during my trip to Vancouver. After reading the reviews, I decided to go during Power Hour. It's basically the time between 12-1 in the afternoon where they consistently have girls dancing on stage. No entry fee for afternoon but I believe there's a $5 fee in the evenings, but don't quote me on that.

The club itself is quite nice. There's a stage at the center with a tip rail. Tons of comfortable seating around the stage. Me and my friend took a seat on the booth with a direct line of sight to the stage. There were about 5 dancers in the afternoon who took turns dancing. I remember at least 3 of them from the last time I was there years ago. One thing I love about this club is that the stage performances are fantastic. They really put a lot of effort into it and a lot of people tip 5's which make them more energetic. I've only been to SCs in Toronto and they don't really put any kind of effort on the stage so this was a welcome surprise. The dances were standard where they removed the top after the first song and the bottoms after the second.
