First visit since COVID

I saw a posting on Facebook (I follow them), which perked up my interest, so I headed up to Chez last night. It’s about an hour from Burlington, VT, not far over the border and the closest strip club to us.

The place hasn’t really hanged much since I last went up several years ago. You ring the doorbell at the entrance, pay a $5 cover and they let you in. They have an ATM, which is good since I had no Canadian money, and ATMs generally give you the official bank conversion rate, very nice since U.S. dollar is much stronger than the Canadian.

A nice bartender/waitress was my server. Beers are $8, gave her $2 tip. Canadiens playoff hockey game was on the TV, which most of the local were glued to. They offered a free drink if the Canadiens won, but they got thrashed 8-3. Place is clean, even the restroom. There is a stage, the girls reluctantly go up, and do two or three songs. They are most interested in getting you into the back booths. None of the customers sit around the stage.
