Fool Me Twice, Shame on Me

I said I wouldn’t do it, but I did. I decide to give the Millstream Inn one more chance after hearing some good reviews by word of mouth. For the sake of the review, I will detail what the place is like inside. When you walk in, it’s a pretty straight forward set up. There’s a decent sized bar placed against the wall, a dancing cage across from the bar, and pretty nice seats further in the room.

I arrived at 9PM on a saturday and I was immediately underwhelmed. There was a girl in the cage who was very attractive and a great dancer, which I thought would be the sign of a great time, but that turned out to be the highlight of the night. I first grabbed myself a drink. I don’t remember the exact prices but it wasn’t outside what’s expected for SCs. The bartender is always chill and attentive which I appreciate, but not exactly what I came there for.

I waited around on the elongated black and red couch when Amber approached me. As it’s my second time here, I didn’t know if she was new, but kind of gave off that vibe. Amber is a great conversationalist and did enjoy her wit and “dad joke” humor, but what I was looking for was a great dance. I go up to the bar and pay my 120 dollars (half to amber + half to house) and we go upstairs to one of the private rooms. Amber begins her dance, and at first I am enjoying it. However 5 mins in, I’m already bored. She only had three moves that she would repeat like clockwork every 20 seconds. I did stay the full 10 minutes (to get my moneys worth), but I immediately left after. Kinda sucks being down ~140 with nothing really to show for it, but at least I can say I gave it fair chance. I personally won’t be back, but maybe it’s for you.
