If you don't wanna make the trek to the Galleria area, It'll do.
The area seems to be in a decent place. Definitely a place that I wouldn't be too bothered by if I came in around 9 o clock at night. It wasn't too far from my hotel in Webster and I figured I'd hit up a club while I'm in town. I didn't feel like dealing with Houston traffic going from one part of the city to another, especially this late in the evening after I had a 8 hour drive to here. I get there around 6 or so, and I pay my cover (like 10 bucks I think it was?) and I walk in. It seems like your average topless strip club. Guys sitting around with their girls and conversating, a thick white girl twerking to some modern sounding trap rap song and then Cheap Trick's Surrender to my surprise. I love me some 70s power pop but it doesn't fit the vibe of this club at all.
Not a whole lot of people here at the time I was there even thought the parking lot seemed pretty full, there was a younger Hispanic guy with a bowl cut haircut talking to one girl, and some other people. There was one guy who looked like some contractor with the way he was wearing his hat and his collar shirt and everything. Seemed like your everyday people crowd, no rich Texas oil executives or people who seem like they hang out at the club and on the street corner as well.
I sit down at one of the chairs near the pole areas and I just wait around seeing if any girl I'm interested in comes near. I get approached quickly by two Latina women (one was older, one was younger) back to back, I politely dismiss both of them. I wonder if they were one of those Cubans I've been hearing about.
