High-End Lounge Vibe in the Heart of the Quarter
The Place
327 Club in New Orleans successfully captures a high-end lounge atmosphere, setting it apart from the rowdier neon-soaked spots nearby. The layout is intimate, centered around a single stage with limited seating around the rail and at the bar. While it still draws plenty of Bourbon Street tourists, the environment feels more intentional and "upscale." It’s a smaller space, but it works well for those who prefer a more focused, face-to-face experience rather than a massive club production.
The People
The club is clearly aiming for a more refined "model" look, with a lineup that leans heavily toward Eastern European dancers. For the most part, the girls fit the upscale mold well. The rotation is consistent, and the dancers spend a significant amount of time working the room. The interaction varies; some girls will sit and have a genuine conversation for a while, while others are more focused on the "quick sell" before moving to the next tourist. The staff reinforces the lounge vibe—service was professional and friendly, avoiding the typical "turn-and-burn" attitude you often find in the Quarter.
